Begonias can grow leggy. They are considered bedding plants in the southwest. Many Begonias have solid colors that are available in pink, red, yellow, orange, white, scarlet, and soft rose. Other striking varieties feature apricot, scarlet, or coral blossoms framed with lacy white or creamy edges.

Most begonias are grown for their colorful flowers and foliage. They can be grown outdoors in pots, or in the ground, they should have filtered light/shade and moist well drained soil.
