The Cyclamen plant
Excellent indoor plant, great vibrant colors as you can see by the photos. The colors are deep red, rich lavender, white and a dark rose color. Likes moist well drained soil. Does best with indirect sun and fertilize about every 2 weeks. It needs to be kept indoors during the winter months.
Be sure to follow a regular watering schedule. It likes temperatures between 65 degrees and fifty degrees during the day. They really like cooler type temperatures. Always water directly on the soil avoid watering over leaves and stems and misting once per week is beneficial. The Cyclamen plant makes an excellent flowering gift.
