Mother In Law Plants Sansevieria trifasciata
This indoor houseplant has long narrow hard edged leaves. The tips are pointy and can easily penetrate your skin.
Hmmmm.... I wonder if the guy/girl who first coined the name "mother in law's tongue plant" had issues with
his/her mother in law?
Anyway this plant likes to be dried out before watering again. It is sometimes called the snake plant.
It is used only as an indoor plant in the southwest. It is very easy to grow and rarely needs any attention at all.
This plant is great for Santa Fe style indoor decorating.
This plant will develop root rot if over watered. It will do well in an office setting. Water about once per month
during the summer seasons. Do not plant outdoors if winter temperatures drop to 32degrees f. They will reach about 4ft in height and about 3ft in width.
