    Peach Trees for the Southwest

    peach trees southwest
Your region's climate determines the type of peach fruit tree that will grow successfully. The climate must be compatible with the growing requirements of the selected peach tree. Some varieties will even prevail in the harsher Upper Midwest climates.

If you are unsure as to how many frost-free days your climate has, please contact your local county extension office. Most of the peach trees below will do well in the lower elevations of the desert southwest.

Be sure to fertilize with a good "Fruit Tree Fertilizer". Jobe's Fruit Fertilizer spikeswill work great
